Prayer for Myrn

Dear Friends of Eagles Wings Ministries,

Words cannot express our gratitude for how you are standing in the gap with your prayers for our sister Myrn during the challenging journey of cancer.  The results of her latest tests were not what we’d hoped and believed God for. The doctors say that cancer has appeared in several new places, explaining the post-op pain she’s experiencing. We praise God for the absence of cancer in her bones. And we praise him that she’s able to be at home while undergoing chemotherapy by medication. We ask that you continue to pray for her and for Steve.

This verse from Micah 7:7-8 is an anchor for Myrn: “But as for me, I watch in hope for the LORD, I wait for God my Savior; my God will hear me. Do not gloat over me, my enemy! Though I have fallen, I will rise. Though I sit in darkness, the LORD will be my light.”

Myrn wants it stressed, that her condition does not in any way impede the progress of Eagles Wings Ministries. That’s what the enemy wants, but here at Eagles Wings, we all stand steadfast in the vision God has given us. The first residence is all but complete and we’re waiting for God to reveal the Barnabas Volunteers. The foundation for the second residence has been laid and a team arrives soon with the goal of getting it framed and dried in. (Some of you have been on the teams that helped accomplish so much and we are very grateful. God bless you!) So you see how very important your prayers are; much has been done, and there is much to do that only God can do. Nothing is impossible for our God.

Walking by faith. Praising him in a song of victory,

For Eagles Wings Ministries
